Pachai pulli kathari kotsu

Recipe marathon2# 9th day


This Kothsu goes well with Ven Pongal & Rice Uppuma.



Ingredients
  • Big size egg plant – 1 no
  • G.chilly – 2 nos
  • Red chilly – 1 no
  • Tamarind – lemon size(medium)
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Mustard – 1 tsp
  • Asafoedita – 2-3 pinch
  • Curry leaves – 5-8 counts
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tsp
  • Smear little oil on big egg plant. Burn it in micro oven in high for 15 minutes. soak & extract tamarind juice thickly.
  • After egg plant gets cool peel itz skin & smash it by hands.
  • Mix the smashed egg plant into the thick tamarind juice
  • Take a oil in kadia.Add mustard, let it spluts, add asafoedita,r.chilly,g.chilly,curry leaves.
  • Now add salt & the tempered ingredients into the eggplant mixture. Garnish it with coriander juice.

  2. Yeah mummy makes them! Yummy with ven pongal!But I am adding thuvaram paruppu here....was wondering...why it doesnt tasting like the one! Now I got the point...will try this version!
